Question: Does the sticky-ness wear off?
Answer: After about 1.5 years of use, the stickiness of mine has finally worn off. I have regularly washed it with warm soap and water and it always came back sticky.

Answer: Yes of course. it works on almost all types of surface.

Question: How long does this take to dry after washing?
Answer:  About a half hour. You can speed up if you shake it or use the hairdryer.
